Fantastic breads and rolls! Whether sweet, neutral, or savory, they are even more delicious than those from well-known sourdough bakeries. Creamy, soft bread of top quality. It's also a delight to watch the baker at work from the shop. They have a few tables where you can enjoy a drink while watching the boats being maneuvered in the lock.
Strand pavilion "De Zeemeeuw"
Strand pavilion "De Zeemeeuw" is located directly on the Muiderberg beach, with a beautiful terrace by the water. The beach pavilion is one of the oldest in the Netherlands. There is a nice playground for children, and the water is shallow, allowing children to walk far into the water.
Muider beach
A small charming beach tucked behind Fort West Battery. You have to know it, otherwise it's almost impossible to find. It's a lovely swimming beach, ideal for families with young children.
